What is Adblue®?

AdBlue® is a high-purity, harmless, colorless, synthetically produced 32.5% solution of urea.

AdBlue® is not a hazardous substance and has been placed in the lowest water hazard class 1. The high purity and uniform quality are guaranteed by DIN 70070.

Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) and AdBlue® by BASF convert harmful nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the exhaust gas to water vapor and elementary nitrogen, a natural constituent of the air we breathe.

Removal of nitrogen oxides from the exhaust gases also enables the engine to be tuned for low particulate emissions and fuel consumption. And with absolutely no detriment to engine performance.
