Donau Carbon GmbH & Co. KG, Frankfurt, Germany, offers a wide range of activities, comprising production, supply and services in connection with activated carbon as well as fixed bed filters for gas, air and water cleaning and is part of the Business Unit Donau Carbon, together with its daughter companies Donau Carbon Corp., Springfield, New Jersey, USA and Donau Carbon S.p.A., Guanzate (CO), Italy and the activities in the Pischelsdorf Site.

Plant Engineering & Contracting

Operating on a world-wide scale the plant engineering division (Donau Carbon S.p.A.) provides design up to of turn-key supply of plants for adsorptive and thermal exhaust air purification and for solvent recovery using activated carbon adsorbers. The engineering of small incineration units for solid, liquid and gaseous waste is also part of our portfolio.

In our facilities in Frankfurt/Germany and Pischelsdorf/Austria special grade activated carbon and blended sorbents are produced and spent carbon reactivated.

Supply

The trade sector is supplying on a world-wide scale more than 100 different types of activated carbon, other sorbents and blends for water and waste water treatment, for air and waste gas purification, for the treatment of liquids and for special application like cabin air filtration, cigarette filters, catalysts and others.

Service

Our service portfolio covers sale/rental of mobile adsorber units for various applications in different sizes, filling, discharging and sieving of activated carbon, providing mobile pilot units including support. Consulting in application technology as well as development and analysis in our own laboratories are essential parts of our service.
